So, Mom found this awesome book at a garage sale with songs and rhymes for going potty. Its helping a little bit with making me want to stay on the potty longer than 3 seconds...its highly entertaining.
What I can't understand is why Mom and Dad keep laughing when they are singing the songs to me. What is so funny about gems like:
Tushy Pushy
(To the tune of Hokey Pokey)
You pull your undies down.
You take the potty out.
You sit your bottom down
And you push the poopy out.
You do the Tushy Pushy
Till the poop is in the pot.
That's what it's all about!
and
Pee-pee in the Potty

i almost pee'd my pants when i read those songs. so i made gabe listen to me sing them. fantastic, do they work? we've yet to try the potty thing. mama's being big-time lazy here. lol
The songs are hilarious! I'm not sure if its singing the songs or a combo of singing them to her while she looks at the pictures in the book - but she does stay on the potty longer now! :)

That is hysterical. I must get that book for when we start (someday) potty training. Must be better than the songs I make up!
